It appears to be a fairly good quality product and functions as described. The only problem was that it arrived with the lens separated from the head. It was very difficult to screw the lens retaining ring back without a special tool. There is no sign of damage to the head or the retaining ring except for some light scratches and no reason to believe that the retaining ring would unscrew itself during shipping. A reasonable guess is that it was not properly assembled at the factory.
