The device does not work, nor can it work, the printed circuit is written 5-24V and the box with batteries supplies only 4.5V Do not buy. If I could, I would return it.

is not RF Control like description states. and. as an IR Control, it is pretty picky for line of sight. Once powered and oriented right, it does function. but useless for my application as the strip, battery box and controller are going inside a lamp shade. no line of sight for the IR, so no control.
