This is a beautifully, precisely made flashlight. Well mounted, with quality glass on the front, robust aluminium mirror, precision reflective galvanised finish. I put an Xtar 21700 battery in it, but failed to get a continuous light. Maybe I was the only one who didnt get it : I pressed once, pressed several times, kept the on button pressed, but it didnt go into any other mode, just same flickered one. This was not a problem for me because I had bought it for a rebuild and had removed the flickering electronics anyway.
