Q: are the dual z motors permanently wired together in parallel or is it possible to use the second z motor for an IDEX (second x) carriage arrangement?

Blank_Disk it's not possible, they are connected together permanently and run from the Z stepper so they cannot be controlled individually.

Q: Is there a ptfe tube inside or is it all metal for higher temperature for printing materials like nylon?

They do a nice job of holding my phone on my motorcycle. It would be nice if this was made of a more sturdy material, but for the price, I am very impressed.

My only complaint is that the reset knob vibrated loose twice now and is now long gone. Suggestion is to unscrew it and add some locktite to the threads.

I have had two switches fail on me now. The rest of the product is decent, but the switches have caused me a lot of grief. I'm running a 3d printer which draws about three amps. Switches rated at 10 amp should be able to handle it, even if it is rated in chinese amps.
