BG722143424 Indeed,we can compare Fiido L3 vs L2. L3 was packaged even better than L2. L3 has few minor advantages: speedometer, slightly higher capacity battery, slightly lower weight, no longer need to remove whole seat to take out a battery (you can simply open it). But L3 no longer have phone holder with USB charger; side orange reflectors were not included; depth of wheels protector is twice smaller... L3 has the practically the same maximal/top speed limit as L2

Fiido L3 came in one week and was packaged very well. L3 has the top speed of about 23 km/h in road as shown in GPS (though bike meter most often shows about 24 km/h). Fiido bike speedometer tend to show about +5% higher speed than real. Using speed crack to unlock speed – holding both (M and ⇄ “Shift”) meter buttons (till blinking), then M, and finally ⇄ key – bike locked to lower speed of ~15km/h in road (~16 km/h in meter); same combination reversed the limit. Light cycling at electric assist gear level 1 provides about 11–12 km/h, level 2 – about 13.5–14 km/h by GPS (14–15 km/h in Fiido meter), level 3 – about 15.5–16 km/h by GPS (16–17 km/h in meter). Cruise control works, though not documented: then bike is ON, do long-press ⇄ button till numbers blinking; you need to turn ON this once – it will survive bike turn off; then turn the throttle handle and drive by keeping a fixed speed for more than 8 seconds. We can now let go of the throttle and the speed will be kept constant. If you no longer need fixed speed, just shake throttle handle (turn handle up/down) or press brake lever. L3 battery indicator has 5 levels: 4 levels remained after about 24 km, 3 levels remained after about +23 km (=47 km), 2 levels – after +21 km (=67 km), 1 level - after +20 (=87 km), 0 level (blinking) - after +25 km (=112 km) and after about +12 km (=124 km) speed started to drop very fast, and after +1 km going only via electric mode is unacceptably slow (~10 km/h); in total I managed to travel 125 km in almost pure electric moped mode. Top speed depends on battery level; thumb ruler: top speed show in meter = 20 + remaining battery levels; true speed in road = 95% of speed shown in Fiido meter. My Fiido L3 had minor problem initially: handle-bar was slightly turned counter-clockwise (to the left); bike has option to slightly to regulate this turning, but with time down-regulated in first days; a bit later I successed to regulate permanently. Grades on seat steam must reverse.

Bike came almost after 8 weeks (or is within 39 business days) – this time is as expected (as promised within 7–9 weeks or 35-45 business days); of course, it would be better if could be faster. Bike with battery is quite heavy; bike itself is not so heavy, however battery is really heavy. I just needed to unpack, unfold steering wheel, put seat, pedals and reflectors, give more air/pressure into tyres/wheels with pump. Also I checked some screws – seemed OK from factory, expect for frontal suspension fork – it seemed not well regulated and they touched frontal brake disk – I failed to adjust them properly and as I don't need them so much anyway, thus removed them (rear brakes are enough) – I use front brake handler as neutral transmission mode. Lamp could be more properly fixed from factory (initially it was turned into one of sides too much – maybe accidentally pushed during delivery?). Initially I did not know that I need long press M button to turn on. Top speed is 22–23 km/h (via throttle); it keep constant speed even driving up to hills, into wind. Assistance mode has three levels: first level 12–13 km/h, second – 14–15 km/h, third – 16–17 km/h; there could be higher difference between these assistance modes (e.g. 11 km/h, 15 km/h, 19 km/h). Power/energy indicator has five levels: four levels remained after ~30 km/h, three levels remained after ~40 km, two levels remained after ~50 km, one level remained after ~80 km; I expected that these indicators would have better correlation with distance. With fully charged battery, I went ~90 km mostly on asphalt and mostly in pure electric mode till last power indicator started to blink constantly; after few more kilometers, I needed to fully use my own muscles. Seat could be more comfortable for long trips (>30km). Nice that battery is removable, though you need use some force to take it out. Despite very minor things, Fiido L2 is very good bike for such price. This is my first e-bike and I am very contented with it!
