Arrived quickly and in good condition.The image on the screen and magnification range is very good and being able to plug it into and view it on my PC is great as well.The fine focus knob movement is rather stick/slip making it a bit difficult, but not impossible, to get the final desired focus.The aluminum stand with rack and pinion for the coarse focus is very sturdy and works smoothly and well. Both video recording modes seem to work fine. The main difficulty I have found is with the picture taking:The 1 and 2MP settings work in general and the 3MP setting does most of the time (but it sometimes fails to record an image to the card after the countdown).The 5, 8 and 10MP settings are much more inconsistent.When you select 5 in the menu and then return to the viewing screen, the screen shows 6 rather than 5 (so not sure what the true resolution is there) and in addition after hitting the OK button to take a picture you sometimes get an image recorded and sometimes not.The 8 and 10MP settings have never recorded an image for me despite going through the count down on the screen.What I have noticed is that at the end of the 3 sec countdown if the 1 stays on the screen for about 1 more second an image is recorded, if it stays on the screen for 3-4 sec then no image is actually recorded despite no error message.Even when an image is not recorded, the numbering of the image files that do get written is incremented as if the missing file had been written, so the firmware thinks something got written but the hardware does not seem to actually do it consistently for a number of the advertised resolutions.I have a brand new 32Gb class 10 Sandisk card and have tried formatting it in the microscope as well as externally with no change in the results, I have also tried a factory reset. In summary, the image on screen is very good as is the magnification range, but know that the picture taking ability does not match what is claimed if that is what is important to you.

Good value for the cost. Some mods are needed to increase the durability of the unit as described in other reviews. I made those and have used it without issue to rebuild battery packs. It's not for industrial/continual use but great for the DIY'r who wants to build or rebuild their own packs.

I have been using these on a Hobby King Auto G2 and after adding some lead tape to get them up to about 21g ea they are working great and have been very durable.
