EricF Use MissionPlanner or QgroundControl from the Ardupilot project. It works with NAVI as it fully supports the mavlink protocol.

EricF Position data is sent over the video signal, integrated into the OSD info in some fashion I think. According to info in the manual. It only works with the SN L Owl FC to my knowledge. But it does say it supports Mavlink, so it should work with others. But you are on your own getting it to work with those other than reading their manual.

Q: Does this support both of 1.2G and 5.8G signal ?

Asked by kenchengrchobby on 2019-05-05 07:28:19

EricF It does not have a receiver, so it technically supports any frequency. However it is designed for 5.8 antennas due to its size.

Q: Any manual, software for programming... ? English language supported?

Asked by mazsola76bg6 on 2019-01-29 03:44:58

EricF Yes, there is an English manual, as well as English firmware here https://github.com/HelloLeFei/SN_L You can use any USB to Serial adapter such as an FTDI to flash the new firmware via the GPS port. Any Ublox compatible GPS module will work as well. I have tested with BN220 and BN880 and both work well. You do not need the power module to use this. You can supply the 5v power via any 5v regulator

EricF Any M8N GPS module should work. GPS modules are very standardized. If the FC does not send auto config messages to the module, at most you will need to connect it to a PC with Ucenter and set the parameters appropriately. Not difficult. The USb updater is simply a USB to TLL Serial adapter. Any will work simply connecting to the appropriate pins on the GPS connector, and finding the appropriate baud rate. The power module is nothing more than a few regulators, and a current sensor and voltage sensor. Others should work. Only a few fairly universal current sensor types are used in the FC market. One of the Matek FCHUB's with current sensor may even work without modification. If not, only a few minor modifications to the voltage and current sensor will be required.
