MannyWi It might not be compatible with Philips Hue, but is reportedly compatible with other gateways than the Xiaomi one. See zigbee.blakadder.com and search for Xiaomi GZCGQ01LM :-)

Q: Does it work with arduino?

MannyWi It depends on what you mean with "work with Arduino". If using a separate power supply and a set of N-channel MOSFETs, you would be able to use an Arduino to control it – but you can't drive it using an Arduino.

MannyWi A bit late, but maybe it can help someone else that is considering buying this strip :-) For 3 strips, I think you need to inject power along the way, due to the voltage drop. The control can be performed using either a prebuilt controller, an extension board or shield to a microprocessor or single board computer (Raspberry Pi etc) or by building such a shield or board yourself. I've built such a board using an ESP8266 and three N-channel MOSFETs.
