Julius Tasselmyer My thoughts, I use AAA rechargeable batteries in both the outdoor transmitter and indoor base station They don't seem to last very long, a couple of weeks at most, but they are easy to change. My base station is plugged in to a USB ac-dc adapter (not included) and powered on only during the day, off overnight. I wanted the base station to be on the bright setting during the day, hence the USB adapter. The batteries don't last very long inside the base station using the displays brighter setting. The outside sensor is a little chore to get working-paired properly. After you install or replace the batteries inside it may not pair-transmit to the base station. Try this: (one at a time until it starts transmitting). Make sure you have fully charged batteries. (Duh!) Change the inside switch (under cover next to batteries) to CH 1 (You only have one outside transmitter). Push in the RESET button (under cover next to batteries) right above the switch mentioned above until the red light (on the front) blinks once. If your transmitter red light blinks once every 55-60 seconds then it is working-transmitting properly and that is not the problem. If it still doesn't work then reset your base station, these is no button for this, just unplug and remove one of the batteries for a couple of seconds. You will have to setup your base station again using the printed instruction, time, date, hour, minutes, 12-24 hour, etc. Your base station should then see your transmitter again. On

Julius Tasselmyer No. Tinyhawk frsky D8 protokol. Be advised that this model is NOT compatible with the latest 2019+ FrSky ACCESS protocol transmitters without the use of FrSky's external XJT module for ACCESS transmitters for D8 mode capability.
