Q: Is this battery in series or in parallel?

eckka The simple answer: SERIES A 2S battery is two 3.7V cells connected in series to give a total voltage of 7.4V. The current available is the capacity of one cell. If, for instance the battery pack was marked as 2S2P this would mean that a total of four cells was used which would be connected as two batteries - of two cells each in series - in parallel yielding 7.4V at 1100mAh, that is the same voltage as one battery but the combined current of two.
