Joe g Ranzau I have had the 4.2 batteries weaken the springs in battery case when using light on full power.they flatten out and are unusable. can solder heavier ones. pain.

BG251364956 Ihave received today the flood light, Can you please forward me the EMC certificate, In the UK this is a must, and on testing it would appear to be contravening the rule. Answer please asap.

thanar This headlamp needs two (I suspect it can work with just one though) rechargeable lithium 18650 cells. Nothing to do with AA or AAA cells. There is just ONE 18650 form factor. There are Li-Ion and LiFePO (that's a rare chemistry for this form factor though) 18650 cells. There are also protected and unprotected Li-Ion 18650 cells. I suspect that this headlamp will probably sport a protection circuit that would turn off the lamp if the batteries get too low, but I cannot be sure, until I make a proper review as soon as I receive the product. All 18650 cells are rated at 3.7V nominal and have various current and capacity ratings. This head lamp should however work with any Li-Ion 18650 cell.
