rsamaratunga They mean PPM - Pulse Position Modulation. This is a method used in Model Radio Control. You can Google for details but most hits are confusing. There is a good explanation in a blog by a person named Duane B. I tried to put the link (URL) here but that is not allowed. Please Google for "How To Read RC Receiver PPM Stream - RCArduino" and it comes (at least, it came for me) right at the top with a date of Nov 11, 2012. You can ignore the Arduino details if you wish but the PPM explanation is good.
