Q: can this be used for 230V?

pieter_daelman If you want to switch 220 V you need to REPLACE the relais for a 220-250 volt type. Meanwhile you can choose also for higher Amp also e.g. 20 Amp for switching Aircon or so. The coil of this relais must by 12 Volt DC of coarse. SECOND: You can also use a 5 V - 6 V coil, but then you supply the temp module with a 6 Volt DC supply. (The MCU works on 5 Volt!) Works perfect!

arnaudcloart Hello, Me, I used power first ring and duct tape "Duck Gorilla" Here are the steps: # 1: I drilled a hole on the start of the 2 power lines. # 2: I inserted a power first ring at the end of the copper line. # 3: I put an eyelet in the hole of the film and passing through the power first ring, then I crimped the eyelet. # 4: I soldered one of the electrical wires to the terminal. # 5: I put thick adhesive tape above and below the eyelet. Do the same on the other side of the film. It's easy to do, fast and secure!!
