Hennie I bought the 8000W inverter. The specification also stated that it is rated at continuous power of 1300W. My initial plan was to run my aircon that is a 880W unit of it. The startup of this AC can be about 3 x 880W thus about 2700W. That lasts for less than 5 seconds so with a peak of 8000W this should work fine and no stress on the inverter. I power the inverter with 48V dc batteries.This inverter could not start the AC. I then tried an oil heater as load. This heater has 2 settings, 800W and 1200W. It starts off well on the 800W setting, runs for about 15minutes, then it gets too hot, cuts out and shows the fault light. After 30 minutes I can start it again with the same result, just cut oit sooner.This is a constant load and it cannot handle it at all. This unit must be specified at about 500W and not 8000W/1300W. Banggood warranties replied to me and suggested that I have it repaired locally but I must remember that when it is opened I have lost my warranty??????? What is the point then. This unit is not BROKEN. It is just specced wrong or they are blatantly lying about the specs. That is unacceptable, that is why I bought the unit with the highest specs from banggood. Bad unit and bad service from Banggood. This unit is not 8000W peak and 1300W continuous. Be carefull when you spend money on this. It is absolutely useless. Banggood will also ask you to return the unit to them when you complain. It is just not worth buying sub standard equipment from Banggood at all.....
