This is my first soldering station, and I absolutely love it. I've used cheap irons a few times in the past, and even that was enough for me to reconsider a cheap model when I decided I wanted one. It reaches working temperature in seconds, so I never have to wait for it, and maintains temperature very well. It's nice and small, and the built quality is quite nice. The RTC battery was more or less dead-on-arrival, so the language and time will reset to the defaults if I don't use the station for a while. It's not the end of the world, but it is a bit annoying, and I can't fix it because I don't have another iron to solder a new one in (this is my first). There are some concerns about electrical safety that I feel anyone buying this product should be made aware of, because each buyer should be able to decide for themselves if they're comfortable with those risks. It's possible to resolve these issues with a few modifications (just search for "KSGER safety modifications" or similar), and these concerns mostly come from an abundance of caution, but I still think people have the right to know. I haven't made those modifications (because I can't; again, no second soldering iron), but I'm not dead yet.

Q: Where should I download the instructions? The seller did not send her to me. The menu is hard to read and understand.

kruschk Ialso had some trouble figuring out how to use the station. I was able to find some documentation by searching for "ksger t12 manual"; it was the first link that came up (unfortunately I can't share the link directly). It's not much, but it was enough to get me up and running.

The brass cuttings clean my iron's tip beautifully, and the pedestal fits snugly into the base of the soldering iron stand (Banggood product ID: 1156336) that I ordered to go along with it. If you get that stand, you might need to shave some paint off of it to get the pedestal to seat properly.
