Toots Never had a IA6 so I can't tell you between a IA6 and IA6B. Probably would not any difference but with the IA6B you get telemetry. The difference is between a FS-TH9X AFHDS and the new FS-iA6B. Range improved significantly with new receiver. Testing was done with my old transmitter-receiver testing 60 size trainer plane. New FS-i6 transmitter is compatible with the old AFHDS receivers so transmitter can be used with either receiver.
