BarryNY I hacked one of the transmitters so I could use it as a wireless link between a door contact about 20M from the receiver, with the transmitter outdoors in a waterproof enclosure and a short wire connected to one of the button contacts which then connected to a magnetic switch. Could not get it to work unless I held it in my hand. I had to solder about 10 cm of wire to the antenna trace on the pc board. Seems like it depends on your body to act as an antenna to get any decent range. Great buy!

BarryNY I used the repair/refund/resend form on the order view. My comments were probably a bit harsh. I'm guessing, based on the other reviews I read that I just had some bad luck and got a couple of out-of-spec devices. Also, a close reading of the spec sheet indicates that only one is really not OK. The other is borderline but within spec, so I want to make sure only one gets replaced. Can you do that for me?
