Mabartibin There is an important issue with these modules, discussed on a number of web pages, e.g. here: https://www.onetransistor.eu/2019/07/zs042-ds3231-battery-charging-circuit.htmlThe module contains a simple “charging circuit” for the battery. If used on a non-chargeable battery, it will eventually destroy that battery. If you use this with a 5V supply, you have to modify the module to disable the charging. It doesn’t simply work with a chargeable battery either since the charging voltage will be too high if the module is powered by 5V and too low with 3.3V.
