Wes The manual for F405-Wing shows use UART2-RX RX2 pad for IBUS, PPM etc., instead of Sbs pad which is for SBUS.

Wes I tested it on servo tester and it sweeped 180 deg. like normal proportional servo. Instructions say to increase pulse width to obtain 270 degrees. I haven't tried that yet, but I expect it will work as advertised.

Wes It says .01 minimum illumination at 1.2F so you need something like .0001 or .00001 like night eagle II or cat 2 starlight for night. The night eagle II is black and white only but it is the best one for night vision.

Q: how do i set rth failsafe for flysky ppm reciever??

Asked by 360noscopy on 2020-08-11 20:38:59

Wes Check what channel you assigned in the Owl's setup menu to be RTH first. Once you setup the flight controller and got the mode and sub-mode switches set you can verify in your OSD which switch or switch combination activates RTH. Then you can go into System -> RX Setup -> Failsafe and set the mode switch channel and sub-mode switch channel (if you setup a sub-mode switch) to the values that select the proper switch position(s). For example on mine I have channel 5 mode switch with manual, stabilized, and sub-mode, then I have channel 6 set to althold, circle, rth. So if -100% is where sub-mode is on channel 5, and -100% is where RTH is on channel 6, then I can set just those channels to -100% and then press the cancel button on my FlySky TX to save those settings. To verify I can power up the TX and plane and see it's all working in the OSD, then turn off the TX and if it's working the plane (Owl flight controller) will go into RTH. Only change the channels which activate RTH, don't for example set the throttle to -100% because the RTH will control that. SAFETY NOTE: You should always remove your propeller when testing in case it powers up by some error to avoid serious injury.
