Q: I just got this unit up and running. The X Axis and Y Axis controls are very accurate. After 2000+ commands, the home command lines up perfectly. When I am cutting anything with more that one area, I am experiencing a Z Axis Drift. This only occurs during the "safety level" move operations. This can result in 5mm difference in depth in only a few moves. What would cause such a drift?

3dVic38 Yes.Not only drifting in the Z axis. In repeat cuts, even the x and y axis drifts as well. My suspicion could be the cnc software loaded originally. Cheap electronics. I may change my pcb board to a AT Mega board to see if it helps.

Q: Hello, with this equipment, I can work with copper? at a very slow speed?

3dVic38 Noway as the chassis is fairly flimsy. Only for softwood wood and even that you have to cut fairly slowly.
