The C01S is a very nice little keychain/pocket flashlight with a warm color beam. With a a simple twist for low and high it's easy and quick to use. Makes more light than a flashlight this small should!

This light is the big brother of the BLF designed Sofirn C01. It is the same high CRI design, and the same body as the C01, but has two lumen levels, a three lumen low, and a hundred lumen high. The light is a twisty, and always starts on high, with no memory. I have to admit that the 5000K CCT is right in the middle of my sweet spot, so I am definitely happy today. Both the little brother C01 or this C01S would make great gifts for kids. The price is definitely right, the size lets it be a great pocket or purse light, and the output while useable will not temp kids to play 'blast dad's eyes' with it.; ;Since they both use a single AAA cell, and work great with NiMH cells the cost of operation is essentially nothing, and it won't be a big thing if the kids leave one on and run down the cell. As the old commercial used to say, "Try it. You'll like it!". [Can you tell how old that makes me?}
