It arrived not unusable but significantly damaged. It isn't the most sturdy piece of equipment and was only packaged in a light cardboard which had apparently been dropped or had a reasonably heavy object dropped on it. It has a distinct straight line vertical bend a third across in the writing surface and the frame. Probably bad packaging and shipping handling.
