If you are looking for a great receiver, this D4R-II is just great. Coupled with a FC accepting CPPM, you can access up to 8 channels (if you plan to use all 8 channels, it's adviced to flash a special F/w). Cherry on the cake, you telemetry informations can be updated with informations collected from FC (acro naze 32 for example) and a direct RSSI output can feed your favorite OSD : E-OSD w/ u-OSD or minimOSD w/ KV team

If you have a Taranis Transmitter with the new EU firmware you can not use this receiver because it is not compatible with the new firmware. And it is sad that Banggood not have stated this so people not buy this unnecessary like me. I am now stuck with a receiver that is to no use for me. I have a Taranis Plus with the new EU firmware so i can not get it to work with the receiver. Besides that i think it's a goodsize and work good if you have the old firmware. The rating is because i can not use it like it is. Best regards Daniel

In doubt which FrSky receiver to choose? This might be it. This receiver is very light and supports 8 channels in ppm sum mode (if you have a pixhawk for example). Warning: Make sure to update the firmware to the 27.5usec frame length version when you use 8 channels! If you have a flight controller that only accepts classic PWM inputs, you should probably get a D8R-XP (SKU304229). As all the D-range receivers, these use the older but still very valid D-type protocol of FrSky. It supports telemetry: the receiver will send back rssi and tssi values to your remote, connect sensors or a flight controller to the serial port on the side of the receiver, and you can transmit more telemetry information such as GPS and battery information. See here for how to set this receiver up with a pixhawk: http://copter.ardupilot.com/wiki/common-frsky-telemetry/#d-receiver_setup I also recommend buying the FrSky upgrade module (SKU136087), to connect the Pixhawk to the receiver, as shown in the guide linked above. You can also use it to upgrade the firmware. A piece of advice: after binding this module, make sure to disable the failsafe mode so that it stops ppm output if connection with the remote is lost. This will make your flight controller able to detect the connection loss and go into its own failsafe mode (for example return home or land). The default mode of this receiver is to hold the last input, this is insane!! So be warned. To do this, after binding power the receiver off, make sure the remote controll is off, then power the receiver on alone (NOT the remote). When it is on, shortly press the button on the receiver, you will see the led flash twice. Also, the failsafe will have to be disabled every time you bind it again, keep this in mind! (I wish FrSky would produce a firmware that disables the failsafe permanently).

comes with voltage sensor connector and 2 piece of jumper.in pwm mode you will get 4 channel...just connect channel 3 and 4 with the jumper you get 8 channel in ppm. Telemetry is excellent.......you do not need anything...for RSSI...it has native support. In addition in ppm mode you get analog RSSI at channel 2. For voltage monitoring of flight batteyr a2 u need a cheap sensor or can make one with 2 resistor.voltage monitoring for flight battery is upto 5s. you also get a1 voltage that is receiver voltage.... nice light weight with 2 antenna

This is my 2nd DR 4-2 receiver. I trust them more than the x series.comes with voltage sensor connector and 2 piece of jumper. you will get 4 channel in PWM...just connect channel 3 and 4 with the jumper(supplied) you get 8 channel in ppm. Telemetry is excellent (all cables included).......you do not need anything...for RSSI...it has native support. In addition in ppm mode you get analog RSSI at channel 2. For voltage monitoring of flight batteyr A2 u need a cheap FBVS-01 sensor or can make one with 2 resistor.voltage monitoring for flight battery is upto 5s. you also get a1 voltage that is receiver voltage.... nice light weight with 2 antenna. The ACCAST protocol is relaible...i am yet to face any signal issue....the connection is rock solid till I could see the quad....then I used RTL to bring back my model. Excellent...and I highly recommend FRsky products...

В комплекте инструкция, 2 джампера и два s.bus проводка. Сразу прошил 18ms, для тех у кого есть родной COM порт в компе - не проблема вообще.
