although it does not look like a beast, it is a little... beast. it has an integrated shelf instead of a pill, which makes the heat dissipation easier and faster. it has also two holes for screws in the shelf - this makes led pcb mounting so much easier and firmer. appropriate screws are attached - impressive! built a luxeon mz flashlight with it. Driver 17mm. LED PCB 20mm

this is a great host to build custom builds. it is similar to surefire 6p or solarforce l2 l2m l2p flashlights. the good thing about this flashlight is that it has cooling fins to help cool it down.

It's a little thicker in head than regular Sx series, but that gives more throw. Anodizing is matt finish, feels...strange in touch. Overall - really good quality.
