Somehow I had it in my head that the speed data for this display was from GPS. Wrong! Its data comes from the cars OBD port. The classic that I bought it for doesn't have one. But the unit is a good idea, the display works quite well, I tried it on my non-classic car. I shouldn't really have knocked off a star. I think they should make a version that does work from GPS.
