The coarser grits of these work great for reprofiling and repairing chipped edges. They remove metal quickly, and the diamond abrasive has good durability for such a low-priced plate. I've formed new edges on half a dozen knives and reground three tips with my 80 grit plate (bottom, in the photo) and it's still going strong. The fine grits, however have poor durability. A few minutes of sharpening a single chef knife on the 2000 grit plate stripped all the abrasive from the plate, rendering it useless.

Quick delivery, looks to be a good product. It’s quite thin but not flexible but I’m only using it for regrinds (180g) and will mount to some MDF. Can’t really go wrong for the price.

So far good value for money. Took a tip from Paul Sellers on Youtube, bonded it to plywood with resin to give a stable base for sharpening hand plane blades and chisels.
