I bought a strip of red, blue, and yellow. All work fine. They are very small, so tweezers are highly recommended. I used these in my quadcopter so I had to add a resistor since these are rated at ~3V and quadcopter controller supplies 5.3V. If you apply too much voltage, either the led will burn outright or it will lose brightness very fast. Also polarity matters but these have markings on the back explaining which way to connect.
