I've bought this for my MPCNC engraver. I use it for cutting 3mm plywood and etching foamboard. Unfortunately, it can not cut foamboard without burning foam inside a sheet. I have no possibility to measure power, but it's definitely more powerful than 2,5W laser, which I bought earlier. And having a controller module is a huge advantage, it can be connected directly to an Arduino's PWM output.

I didn't use it close to the margins yet, and since I with low power electronics probably never would. Easily survived a few days of continuous work. Works as expected.

Q: So i recieved the boards and now and installed the firmware. I wanna know how to reset the board (delete firmware) and install the different firmware - since it is universal LCD controller board, this should be easy, right??

errno There no way and/or need to delete firmware. You just overwrite it. If you've managed to install firmware (even a wrong one, incompatible with your screen), you can try another one. Just repeat the flashing procedure with the new firmware.

These are very handy for making temporary connections. The silicone caps are slippery and alligators crimping are questionable, though.

I had some difficulties installing a device driver. Solved that issue in an hour. My main use case is debugging UART communication at 115200, which works like a charm.

Poor soldering, sockets are crooked. And it's not compatible with recent GRBL. I spent a few hours rootcausing why steppers won't move. Fixed the issue by cutting STEP and DIR traces and soldered those pins correctly.

TMC2130 is awesome. With these drivers my printer became almost silent. But this particular modules have useless defaults (tiny tiny solder jumpers). To make it work you have to rework pin headers and some SMD soldering.
