video quality is good and the camera has many useful features. the only downside is that it doesn't allow the user to set the recording bitrate. the bitrate is preset based on the options you choose. also when both cameras are active it will record only at 30 fps and you cannot select 60 fps..

Quality is pretty bad, but what can you expect at this price? When it's fully zoomed in you get a intense ugly square looking beam. When it's fully zoomed out you get a very weak circle. Locking/unlocking is flimsy. Sometimes the tube will unscrew when you try to unlock it. The LED looks like LatticeBright Q5 (a bad copy of Cree) It shines brighter with one 18650 instead of 3xAAA

onetrickpony You only need the power supply for 3.5" drives. And it's understandable why it's not included. A good 12V power supply is not that cheap.

This is a SATA to USB adapter and it works as expected on both Mac and Windows. Speeds are up to USB 3.0 specs. I only tested it with a 2.5" SSD so far.
