Alan1963 I believe they are 1404s around 3000kv, I have tried the motors off Diatone Roma LR 4" but they are the wrong size.

Alan1963 youneed to measure or match the size of motor if its the same size then maybe they will match but the wires will probably need swapping around, back to the motors check the diameter of motors.

Q: V5 Frames, XL7 V5 is a 10" size quadcopter, ??? or for 7"? please confirm.

Alan1963 Thanks for the tip (rag) ive not flown mine yet but when weather picks up I will try it, Im a 1st timer so fingers crossed
Alan1963 Just to add, tonight I tried 550mah 4s lipos with two different style props same indoor flying style, 1st flight with original props 8.48 seconds to second beep, 2nd go with same lipo size 4s - Gemfan Hurricane 4024 props 9.40 seconds to second beep, Im now very impressed. Just need to get out now..
Alan1963 Theflight controller is not meant to be firmly fixed, it is supposed to be floating or at least 3M double sided foam tape or rubber grommets, all the quadcopters I build the FC is placed on rubber grommets.

Alan1963 Iuse exactly the same set up but now Im using the inav firmware and can still use the bluetooth or wifi function, great board.
