Q: how to pair a new device after initial setup?

Asked by fatal on 2018-10-14 10:39:43

D.Boulanger Search for the name in the list of available bluetooth devices and simply select it to connect. Make sure nobody else is connected to it. Your might need to power cycle the amplifier so that it will start in pairing mode.

D.Boulanger This is an auxiliary line. If you connect an external device with a proper 3.5mm male to male wire connector, you could listen to the content of that device. For instance, MP3 players don't all have a bluetooth connection, therefore this would allow to listen to the music on it. While connecting something on the jack, the bluetooth receiver will be disabled. Once the line is disconnected, the bluetooth fonctionality will resume normally.

D.Boulanger Can you tell me which app you\'re using ? Is it on IOS or Android ? If Android, what is the Android\'s version on your device (phone, tablet, etc...) ? The IDMM app crashes on my phone which has Android v7.1.1, so I\'m curious to know who has been successful.

Q: Hello! How many Broadlinks SC1 can i have in my house?

D.Boulanger Assuming you want to keep the installation process fairly easy, with one router that is, then if your router's DHCP server range is set properly, you could potentially connect 250 units or so, but that won't leave much room for your other wi-fi devices such as tablets, phones, computers, etc.., so you will have to plan your quantityaccordingly. Also, it would be wise to validate how many devices the app can control, right ? If the app is limited to 32 devices but you have 50 of them, you'll end up with 18 of them that will collect the dust!

Q: the app run on iPhone?

Asked by Zumbito on 2018-01-15 03:55:47

D.Boulanger As per the description, there is an app for IOS and Android, therefore if the IOS version is compliant with the app requirements, then it should work on an iPod, iPad and iPhone as well.

D.Boulanger If you're talking about the motors used in the automobiles doors, the answer is obviously NO. This device is designed to work on 110-220 VAC, not 6 VDC or 12 VDC. I think you will need something more like a toggle switch rather than one that latches. Depending on the type of motor you use and the setup you have, feeding 110-220 VAC to your circuit might not have the desired effect.
