mikey553 You can connect several caps in parallel to get higher overall capacitance.

My review compares AD584 to LM399. and I will copy this review to AD584 device as well. Both devices are comparable in size and both require an external power supply around 15 VDC. I decided to use 4 LI-ion cells in series as a power source for testing purposes. I've got 16.616 V from them according to my best multimeter - Aneng AN870. I have also tried 3 cells with a combined voltage 12.462 V, but did not see any difference in test results. This is what I've got from LM399: Reference voltage recorded on the board vs my AN870 reading. 2.54998 V - 2.551 V 5.09632 V - 5.098 V 7.64587 V - 7.647 V 10.19416 V - 10.196 V Then I repeated the same test for AD584. Again reference voltage from included piece of paper vs AN870. 2.49942 V - 2.497 V 5.00037 V - 5.000 V 7.50042 V - 7.499 V 10.00066 V - 10.001 V My AN870 is only 4-1/2 digit meter and its accuracy in this particular range is +/- 0.013 V, so I am more than satisfied with my meter. I cannot say the same about both voltage references. LM399 produces bigger voltage than AD584 and is more consistent. It costs 2-3 times more than AD584, so I should probably trust the more expensive device. On the other hand both boards were calibrated with high end 6-1/2 digit meters, which should be accurate down to +/- 0.00029 V or less in this range. PS. After reading excellent reviews on eevblog.com/forum/metrology I have learned that my AD584 has a fake calibration certificate and possibly fake chip. Many other users have certificates with exactly the same numbers. It is clear now why two devices do not agree with each other. Shame on you Banggood for selling fake products.

HerefSnooty This kind of controller has a very large instantaneous welding current, 100 to 200A, and the heat inside the mos tube is also very large! Therefore, when testing the machine, the welding energy should start from the minimum, and the welding can be guaranteed. Don't set too large! The most important thing is to pay attention to the range of the power supply and the thickness of the welded nickel strip! If the nickel band is too thick, the tube will burn easily! This must let customers read the instructions

Blissful Hello friends, long press the "ANEW" key for 3 seconds to reset the calibration.
