Q: Can you safely use this to calibrate a hot air gun or just soldering iron?

Good image quality, the remote really sucks though, I rarely seem to be able to get it to work. There is noticeable lag on the builtin screen, even with the 60hz setting, I'm sure I can get used to it, but I expected better for 60hz, perhaps an external monitor will fare better.

BG843524139 I also bought it to calibrate the Ksger T12, they now agree to within 4-6 degrees celsius, which is good enough for me.

One pin of the screw-in connector came bent, I just straightened it up with a screwdriver and everything seems to be working fine now. Great value for monney.
