Score... 9/10 Have waited to review this RC car to test reliability and durability, as this company (MJX) are not knowen for producing RC cars. We'll skip the product details as they are well covered elsewhere online. Build quality is very good with 4.5mm (at slimest point) drive shafts all round and I've not yet been able to bend one, which is unusual! The car is mostly plastic, and again, I've not broken anything in several months of use (on road, skate park, mountain bike track, bush bashing). One of the negatives, I thought initially, is the lack of availability of spare parts but as yet I've not needed any so this hasn't been an issue for me at all. For a 1/16 truck it drives and handles nearly the best I've used in this price area and the internal layout is excellent providing plenty of room for a higher capacity battery. I admit I purchased this RC to experience the onboard GPS which is very accurate and simple to use with the free to download App. I'm struggling to mention any real negatives with the price point and targeted market in mind. The price is on the high side but nothing breaks! I have lost the cover for the LED lights somewhere along the journey but cant really say that is a break as it still functions and works as it originally did. On to speed, on opening and first running the stock battery achieved 41km/h above the specifications 38km/h recorded on both the App speed and standalone GPS.... fast forward a hand full of months, lots of hours of use and 35km/h is what I got when doing this review (battery degradation?). A 1500mah 2s also got 35km/h so I tried (for the first time) a 3s 1000mah 70c battery and got 48km/h which didn't seem to bother the stock 35A ESC at all. 2s 1050mah 25c Lipo...... 35km/h (stock battery) 2s 1500 mah Lipo.... 35km/h (wltoys battery) 3s 1000mah 70c Lipo.... 48km/h (Zop power battery) Overall a great 1/16 truck well worth the money and I'm looking forward to MJX's future offerings....

Score.... 7.5/10 Great unit on first glance. Quality build with hex top screws/bolts. It looks a 'smaller' 1/10 scale car but is larger then the Wltoys 124017 (see pictures) so bigger then a 1/12 scale? Graphics, colour scheme, wheels present an attractive package and under the cover continues this trend with everything nicely set out neat and tidy (see pictures). The battery tray is a little smaller then you would expect in a 1/10 rc but the battery is beautifully locked in with an easy to lock plastic hinged piece. The remote is basic with steering and throttle trim the only adjustments available. Steering and throttle duel rates would be a great edition. Driving was smooth, steering precise and suspension half decent even with the friction shocks which can be filled with oil. The transmission range was short (100m at most) which made the 3S run challenging. Perhaps a longer receiver wire would increase range? Its length is about 60mm. Overall performance was sound, fun factor very good, and speed acceptable given not everyone wants/needs 'fastest' car. The tyres gripped well on sealed road and the car was stable, held its line very well and proved to be a great buy for the price. I brought this car with the aim of converting it to brushless as the 1/10 scale should provide plenty of room to do so but for now I'm happy just to run it as it came with perhaps the exception of switching out the ESC/Receiver for stand alone units to improve range. Speed runs... (see pictures for GPS readings) 2s Li-ion 1800mah 34km/h (supplied battery) 2s Lipo 1500 mah 35 km/h 3s Lipo 1200 mah 49 km/h
