VRGeo The4G has nothing to do with WIFI connectivity. You may easily block SIM data usage. However, your location is visible in any case with the GSM phone. This cam's videostream is protected via VPN which is secure but you can't choose different ways of use rather then V380's web service. The station mode worths only for initial setup and apparently works only with the mobile app. Overally, the quality of this cam is surprisingly good, especially for this price. Sorry, can't provide a normal review since I bought my cam offline.
VRGeo I think, it's enough to power-off the tablet, the KB goes off itself.
