Q: what do you mean by AC input? 240volts mains?

Nara You need 12 to 18 Volts and cant connect 230V which will burn your camera unit.

Nara Yes, It does records, if some one standing more than 10 seconds with out ringing the bell. The recording is for around 8 seconds sent and stored in your phone in Sub folder UBIA, datewise, in Folder Video Player.
