OGHagen Is the sheat covering the clamps very slippery?

The test leads with crocodile clips I purchased are of reasonable quality although two of these cables arrived without continuity. This matter I resolved without any difficulty, of course. Easy to fix. They are working well and each cable seems to be of reasonable quality, with no significant memory in its mechanical aspect. Time will tell whether I'm right or not but I suspect that they will last

OGHagen I have this kit laying around. I have not started assembly yet as the tiny pitch of the square chip is a challenge. You hot aired soldered that? I have several kinds of flux and solder paste in syringes, but not a electric hot air gun. I have a butane soldering iron kit with sort of a tube attachment tip. Is that what you used? In picture 8 the area around the chip looks kind of scorched. Why is that?

Beautiful and stable DIY clock which I ever made. I have spent approx 2 hr to complete this kit. did some mistakes but finally got success. working perfectly on a single attempt. small microcontroller was having some challange to solder for beginners. but using air soldering gun anyone can solder easily. document was well and easily explained. I really like this kit. I will order same kit again as
