chicors Brushless2306 are a great choice. Probably 2400Kv for 4s or 1700Kv for 6s

Q: Can I run it on 3s without changing the esc or motor?

chicors Yesand no, some people have managed to do it and nothing bad happened but some have burnt the esc and overheated the motor
