As material it seems sturdy. It has the screw embedded so you can adjust the width in order to fit the phone. The tooths grab adequate the phone but I have to test it in open road and in high speed in order to have a complete opinion - so be aware of this. I had a minor problem because the it didn't fit firmly but I solve it by using a little extra rubber. Using it for bicycle purposes I can recommend it. For motorcycle I have to check it in open road as I said. Under 10 euros of course it is ok to buy it for any purpose though.
