This item is excellent. The torch ships in a strong plastic container which can protect the torch if it is dropped. It has a rechargeable battery and has a micro usb charging port and is compatible with any phone charger or power bank with the supplied usb cable. The main beam is VERY bright and appears as daylight (attached photos in day time). The main beam is zoomable and can light objects in the distance (I tried it up to 100m). In addition, there is a side LED panel that works like a lantern. This is also very bright and can light up a large room in bright light. This torch has three modes of working: 1. Main beam 2. Rapid flash (this can attract attention in emergency) 3. Lantern All of these modes work very well. My only minor complaint is that the modes cycle one after the other with the power switch and they are not selectable. If there was an additional mode select switch, this torch would be perfect. I highly recommend to buy this. This is a fantastic product for the price.
