I've had just about all Volantex gliders but this may well be the best. Only minor issues. The decals peel of the foam quickly, my ESC cut out at full power. The box may not protect the plane in transport. A second layer of cardboard wouldn't hurt. But many good points: The plane can take a lot of weight in the nose, so I fitted a stronger motor and ESC. She's literally unstallable. Wings are easy to fit and remove and the EPO foam is strong and shiny. The hinges in the control surfaces are a nice bonus; no more tape repairs after a few months. All controls are working with good authority. The ABS plastic of the fuselage is well made and precise. Whether it is as durable as the former, softer material remains to be seen. I covered all foam with clear book cover so no more hangar rash and she looks stunning. When the y-leads are replaced with single leads reflex and camber, unison aileron/flaps and crow can be set up and it works great. No elevator compensation required. This is a nice allrounder that can fly fast or slow and handle some wind as well. Congratulations, Volantex, to a great and well thought through design.
