Not terrible and a bunch cheaper than Woodpeckers, but they did call them "Precision" / "Guaranteed" squares, so here goes: I bought both the metric and SAE versions of the Veiko "Precision Square" and was disappointed that the blade thickness was less than 2mm (0.077"). When these thin aluminum blades were stamped out, both my squares got a bit potato-chip shaped, which is more difficult than you would think to flatten out (& which, obviously you should not need to do). Also, neither square was actually square. Fortunately, I was able to "adjust" them to square by loosening the cheek plates. Sadly, the $21 Home Depot / Empire 12" / 300mm "Framing" square (pictured) was square and came in at a beefy 4.7mm / 0.185" thick. Plus, I didn't have to wait weeks for the blue aluminum, and HD has a much easier return policy. The marking indents on the Empire square are more coarse than the Veiko's. Finally, the marking holes on the Veiko squares may make it a valuable tool, but I haven't used that feature yet. Take care!
