What a good piece of kit, brilliant. I could have done with one of these forty years ago. The photos show a rear lamp unit from a DAF Truck that I am testing 12volt and 24 volt bulbs in. Also testing a 12 volt headlamp bulb. If you just hook a bulb up to a 12 volt car battery, yes it may illuminate the bulb, but what is the currency drawn and wattage output? Yes is does state the Watts on the bulb but is this an actual figure of the bulbs output? With this Minleaf the output figures are there and one of these bulbs, whilst operating at 12-12 volts, it did not produce the watts and the currency was down. Now with a modern vehicle that can sense the currency drawn therefore indicating that a light is not working, when you investigate the lights, they are all illuminated. With this I have just proven that a 12 volt 21 watt bulb could not produce any where near that wattage. The headlight bulb did 44 watts. The 24 volt 5 watt side lamp did 4.5 watts. It was easy to do. A very useful and affordable piece of kit. Thank you.
