This truly is a gem. Put a great quality psu driving it. Linear hard core transformer based, not any old laptop or ages old computer psu and you'll get little peace of cheap hi-fi. Works ok with good quality SMPS also. Please note, true usable wattage is about 2 x 50w (@ 1% 4 Ω) or 2 x 25w (@ 1% 8 Ω) (chipset data sheet) with 24v DC. Unless you really don't care about huge amount of distortion in sound. That sounds little but is enough to drive sane sized home speakers cleanly. Not really for subwoofers or such. If yours arrive with the heat sink loose, take it out, put some thermal grease there and screw back in. It is better than without it. I am pleasantly surprised pro audio engineer. Just wanted to see if these are good for anything. I usually buy amplifiers at 400-1000€ price range.
