it's ok...would have expected it to cut off if there was no light but it keeps on working... so the panel is there just to charge the battery - no day/night feature... pity it would have been a great product with that feature for the purpose of my setup but if your setup does not require it, then go for it!!!. I am considering the connection of a 12V day/night switch to it and then I'm good to go!!!
