Excellent. I had wondered from the photo what the hands were made of. They are brass. It works, and I assume it will keep good time, because it is quartz and is the standard sort of movement used in electric clocks. It takes one AA battery. The part that passes through the body of whatever you use for the clock-face is 15mm long, which is a good depth. It was well-packaged in its own little box, and arrived very quickly. I am delighted with it.
