This little generator is quite handy, I use it in my Amateur Radio "Go kit" so that I can charge the Gel Cell batteries I use to power my transceivers. IT basically gives me unlimited power for a portable operation. The switch selectable outputs and USB ports are useful for keeping cell phones and other devices charged. Have not tried it yet with my drone, however I foresee it will be useful for charging those batteries in the field as well. The unit itself seems well constructed and even had a warranty card with it. The crank handle attachment bolt was cheese and improperly sized, but this was easily remedied by replacing it with a Grade 8 bolt of the proper size. All in all I am pretty pleased with the unit.
