Reply 10/09/2020Alexandre Good ideas!
Reply 01/10/2020Doctorzorro May I ask what battery you used? Was the protection circuit already in it or is that a separate module also?
Reply 12/10/2020DagDerniT You're AMAZING 👏 💕
Reply 23/10/2020REXX5000 what dimensions are the battery you are using? or where did you pull it out of??
Reply 14/01/2021TonBG248126253 Congratulations to add a battery to a portable device. I ordered one, looked at the voltage input diagram, sequence is connector - diode - switch - LM1117 fixed at 3.3 volts. So, the diode drops 0.6 volts and the LM1117 has a dropout of 0.6 volts, which makes me believe that 4.5 volts is the minimum input voltage, if you don't bypass the 1N4007 diode.
Reply 24/01/2021REXX5000 @Doctorzorro it has over voltage protection built on the battery but he's using a TP4046 li-ion battery charger and protection. they are bloody brilliant little modules. the every protection you need for lithium batteries. plus you can change the input current by changing the resistor R3 in the board. plus if you parallel them up over multiple batteries they can be used as BMS(BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM). HOPE THIS HELPS YPU AND OTHER WHO READ IT. GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU CLOSE MY FRIEND. 🙏🏼
Reply 10/11/2021REXX5000 @TonBG248126253 nice observation and your right about the voltage drops.
