This light is great for a number of reasons: 1- it is very bright 2- it is focusable so it goes from a spread to a narrow intense circle. 3- it uses a single AA battery (as opposed to 3ea. AAA) - economical to use 4- good quality- Switch is excellent - has not failed under constant use - only on-off positions which is advantage - no click, click & click to adjust intensity and flasher which is not very useful. 5- Very nice machining - great appearance all aluminum construction.
