love the cutter but I find as with most of these types the way you hold the veg down doesn't seem to work well. the spikes hit the blades so I end up ditching the gripper and use my hands- recipe for disaster I know and defeats the purpose of half the kit - maybe its just me and I haven't figured out how to use it properly. it cuts really well and evenly though and i love the fine julienne setting. clean up is easy peasy as long as you rinse it straight away. a very sturdy item with mostly metal parts - the bits that are plastic are also nice and hefty and not flimsy at all- I'm quite happy with this thing for my coleslaws especially
